punk is not dead...punk is alive as it was 20 years ago...
take my favourite band for example Bad religion.... they have been around since the 80's and are still selling millions of copies of their albums..plus other bands like NOFX are selling hundereads of thousands copies of their albums...so how can you say that punk is dead when there are plenty o quality bands out there with millions of fans

You're just giving examples of punk ROCK. Big difference. I love punk and punk rock, but punk died in my oppinion. Punk rock still lives thought.

yes, I have heard a lot of songs of them. Offcourse the songs are not rock. The songs are punk rock.
Just to prove. Most of their songs are NOT punk. It's just too melodic.
