Well... We're as disappointed as everyone else who tried to find AH in stores today. We spent all afternoon driving to various stores looking for AH, and none of them had it. Like other users observed, EB has it scheduled for Monday the 22nd. Gamestop said it is active in their system, so they expected to have it today - but I don't think they did.

So basically, it looks like the game didn't ship on the 16th, and none of us were notified. Yeah, I'm very bummed out right now. I'm sick of not being able to give fans a solid release date, and I feel especially bad about fans who took time out of their day to go hunting for the game, only to come to the same conclusion we did.

However, AH WILL HIT SHELVES, dammit! Nothing can stop that now. Some users said it was out in their areas - if anyone actually sees it on a store shelf this week, please let me know! I'm as confused as you guys are right now... I'm dying to see it on the shelves. Sorry again to everyone who went looking for it and couldn't find it. I'll post more updates when I know something.

That sucks! I'm desperate for this game, as are many other people. From what I hear, some Wal-Marts do have it in... But that's it. I THINK my friend got the game, but I can't say for sure. I'll get back on that.

I went all the way across a ferry to find out that AH wasn't in yet!!! im so fucking mad. Tom u must be veeery frusterated. I was lookin forward to playing all day! (*sigh*) i guess ill just have to wait.

I went to best buy yesterday and today and i didn't see, but im buying the second I see it. I don't think the release date will effect the sales stats.

thats alright, it will give people a chance to get their money back together after Half Life 2. Anyways, I dont have a PS2 or Gamecube but if any birthdays come up all my friends already know they are getting Alien Homnid, I actually considered buying PS2 just to play it, but I dont have that kinda $$$ :'(

Saw on Gamespot that the release date for AH is the 21st, delayed again I think.
Hey Tom, I think it'd be really cool if you and Dan could describe your experience of Alien Hominid. For example, what kind of computers you used, what programs, how was the working environment, the people you had to work with, etc. It would totally rock.

Well, I'll be there the 22nd I guess, or maybe Toys R Us has it, or I dunno. I'll be sure to look around, but don't be bummed out Tom, it's been enough getting it to where it is now, if it's not out on the exact date, nobody is going to kill.

I think it's just amazing enough that a simplish flash game turned into a monster consol game....I can't wait to play it.

I'm not as disappointed, since I don't know when the GC version's going to be showing up in my mailbox anyway. You said that it might have been delayed a week, and I don't know when shipping is going to get it here, so...whenever.

You should at least try and find out what went wrong with all the game stores that said they were releasing it and didn't.
