CULTURE INFO
French National Anthem
Formez vos bataillons, Marchons, marchons!
Qu'un sang impur Abreuve nos sillons.
Amour sacré de la Patrie,
Conduis, soutiens nos bras vengeurs.
Liberté, liberté chérie,
Combats avec tes défenseurs;
Sous nos drapeaux, que la victoire
Accoure à tes mâles accents;
Que tes ennemis expirants
Voient ton triomphe et notre gloire!
Aux armes citoyens!
Formez vos bataillons,
Marchons, marchons!
Qu'un sang impur Abreuve nos sillons.

Ye sons of France, awake to glory, Hark, hark, what
myriads bid you rise: Your children, wives and grandsires
hoary, Behold their tears and hear their cries, see their
tears and hear their cries! Shall hateful tyrants mischief
breeding with hireling hosts, a ruffian band
Affright and desolate the land, while peace and liberty lie bleeding?
To arms, to arms, ye brave! Th'avenging sword unsheathe!
March on! March on! All hearts resolved on victory or death.
O sacred love of france, undying,
Th'avenging arm uphold and guide
Thy defenders, death defying,
Fight with Freedom on their side.
Soon thy sons shall be victorious
When the banner high is raised;
And thy dying enemies, amazed,
Shall behold thy triumph, great and glorious.
To arms, to arms, ye brave! Th'avenging sword unsheathe!
March on! March on! All hearts resolved on victory or death.

I have decided not to draw something because French art has a paticular feature that I want you to see. So, I prepared a list of sites that show you French Art.

http://www.artlex.com/ArtLex/f/french.html - French Art Examples
http://fineartandantiques.com/french.htm - French Paintings
http://users.pandora.be/emanuel.vandorpe/artmedal/franse1.htm - French Artists
http://www.pitt.edu/~medart/menufrance/mainfran.html - Images of French Architecture

So, I take it that everyone here answer oui to....
Est-ce que vous parlez francais?
I'd have the accents in there, but I am using an American keyboard, and accents don't work too well on these things LOL.

Oui, Nous parlons français.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to put:
Parlez-vous français?

You want to join :) ?

Yes, it probably would have been, but I'm pretty tired right now (just got up) and put the first question that came to mind.

You want to join :) ?

Sure, why not. I'm not very good with French (I'm currently about halfway through French I), but I'm always willing to learn.

Mais il oublie aussi le '^' en être, le 'è' en tres et le 'ce' au lieu de 'du'

But he also forgot the '^' in être, the 'è' in tres and the 'ce' instead of 'du'
