I was looking at my public profile and I noticed a "popualrity" category. I'm ranked in the upper 3000's out of 50,000. My friend, who is like one level below me, is in the 48,000's. And then, to top it off, I saw a guy who is in level 2 and he's in the 1,800's. So, my question is what is popularity based off of? Reviews? Number of times someone looks at your profile?

Well apparently, popularity is based on how many hits your profile gets. Heh.. Now I don't feel so bad being in the 300's.
Are you sure its Profile hits and not references and participation or posts or reviews... Stuff like that.. I wish they would say

As far as I'm aware, it's the number of hits your profile gets...
