We are currently running from servers in both Philadelphia and NYC (this is temporary), and Ross is still synching up some stuff. In the meantime, you might see some weirdness. I have removed the pop-up ads for now - they were getting too annoying. Some of the advertisers were really taking advantage of us with ads that spawned additional pop-up ads (for their own profit), and I'm unhappy about it...

ANYWAY... We are looking for Canadian Newgrounds users! Tomorrow morning around 10:30am, I am being interviewed for "This Morning" on 99.1 CBC Radio. All Canadians should tune in! They are also looking to talk to Canadian NG fans reguarding the recent surge in Osama Flash games and movies. If you are interested in being on the show, they will need to do a pre-interview with you. Email your name, location (ie Toronto, etc.) and PHONE NUMBER to wade@newgrounds.com and he will pass it along to the radio show. Expect to be contacted this afternoon! We need people quick if we are going to get them on!

I recognize websites need to make $$$, if not for profit, atleast to support themselves, so I consider advertising a necessary evil, but I make it a point not to return visit websites that use ANNOYING POP-OVER, POP-UNDER, AND SELF-RELAUNCHING ADS! One of the pop-up ads that came up on NG recently could only be removed with a CTRL-ALT-DEL [end task]!!! That stuff is BS, and I was afraid I was going to have to try to find a new home for flash movies & submissions (nothing compares to NG), so I'm very happy you did something about this, because there is no substitute for Newgrounds.
