There's a lot of great stuff on the front page today - be sure to have a look! Killing Spree V is one that I personally had overlooked in the past, but it was brought to my attention by Zonox. Dog vs. Satan is one I just happened to stumble across. I couldn't believe it had been completely overlooked!
The front page was pretty good! Killing Spree V was indeed overlooked, but Dog vs. Satan, although an original concept just had too many downsides to get front page, but hopefully the next from that other will be better.
If you enjoy works such as Salad Fingers, Mr. Happy and Dog vs. Satan (all of which were on the brink of obscurity at one point) and you feel there is something that is being ignored, don't hesitate to email me! With 200 submissions per day, I know we are overlooking a lot of really great stuff. We gotta stop doing that! :)
Hehe, I love Salad Fingers, and Mr. Happy Face was just hilarious. Thanks for reviving those from obscurity. I was actually thinking about e-mailing you about an author called JenadaeX, who has three GREAT but unnoticed flash. Also, I liked that you brought the 100 Omake to the front page, I was thinking that it would be forgotten for sure (4th and 5th place don't get you much attention).
In other news... You will notice that all Portal submissions with ratings less than "18+" now contain only clean advertisements. Authors who produce clean content no longer have to worry about sharing the page with adult ads, and viewers who only watch clean content no longer have to worry about adult ads appearing on their screen (at least, not on those pages). It's a tough balance to maintain the NG budget and minimize the adult ads, but we're taking it step by step!
That's nice to here, no one wants to see XXX HENTAI banners all across their screen while trying to watch Mario. Once we find some good sponsers we may be able to block those evil hentai ads forever.
Be sure to support NG advertisers whenever possible - the better support they receive, the better quality our ads can become, making NG more pleasant to browse! When you see a good looking ad for a video game or movie, take a look at what they have to say on their website! It would be a better world at NG if we could promote cool stuff like Viewtiful Joe and Kill Bill rather than spyware removers and blinking desktop icons.
I really don't check their sites because, half of the time they are acvertising things that I really see no intrest in, well one step at a time I guess.
