NG E-mail and AOL

For some time now we have had problems getting our emails out to AOL users. This is because our mail servers were not set up to the standard that AOL was looking for. Now that we have acquired the skillful services of Tim as our full time sysadmin he has made improvements to our mail system that will hopefully allow our emails to get through to AOL users. However, to confirm this we are asking our AOL users if they have recently been able to get our email? If you have recently signed up for a NG account and got a verification email from us to validate your account please respond to this and let us know! If you are an AOL user and don't have a NG account you can try and sign up for one and let us know how you make out.

One of our users told us he set his mail filters up so blocked emails would be sent to his spam folder. So AOL users may want to try this if they aren't receiving our emails to their regular mail folder.

i checked my aol address and i got an email from newgrounds so its working here in boston i have dsl connection does that help wade?

lol, i hope that tip helped wade, i was pissed off when i could'nt get my ng confirmation e-mail, thank god i found out about the spam folder, also for everyone else, the idea of the spam folder thing also works on any other confirmation e-mails from any other sites that get blocked because they use automated bots.

i hope i helped get some ppl on newgrounds while that problem was on the site. if it did then im happy :)

Thank the Fucking lord For Comcast is all I have to say. Not one problem...although it does cost a bit to get the spyware and Virus protection that is not with it, but What the fuck, it isn't as bad as AOL!

AOL has a spam filter button
go to your mail control if u have aol and shut off the spam filter
