Isn't that the same company that had to go through all their videos, give credit to a bunch of sprite rippers and sprite artists and literally pay them for the work they used for their videos?

I remember something about that controversy after seeing one of the admins of The VG Resource call them out on this (Can't remember if it was either Tonberry2K or RandomTalkingBush) but I could very well be confusing this with another site.

I dug up some tweets regarding the subject, turns out it was Tonberry2K who actually called them out on this if you look at the whole thread.

In response Dorkly actually owned up to their mistakes, apologized and decided to contact the wronged artists and rippers regarding this.

I was still on TSR by the time this happened and it was somewhere about a year ago before I left when this happened. I just couldn't remember the specific details on it. Personally I'm glad that the people at Dorkly weren't total assholes about it and decided to acknowledge where they went wrong because a lot of the things that they were doing before this all blew up looked very familiar to me when I looked closely at a lot of the videos they were making.
