Hope you've been enjoying yourself as much as I have! And I hope you've learned something along the way! This challenge is all about you honing your skills and teaching yourself to finish. So even if you were only able to make one track this month, that's one more track you can add to your repetoire :)

Yeah, can't wait for this challenge to be OVER! Cause I'm starting to feel uncomfortable dumping semi-random notes in beepbox to come up with songs every day! That said, I'm glad to have taken part of it.
I'm quite happy about the songs I got out in the beginning of this jam. Most were melodies that were stuck in my head for years.
I wish I had seen this thread sooner! I have just recently started doing more with music again and this seems like a good opportunity to try things out.

Sadly, I only got 3 songs done. :/ I'll post 'em up before deadline ends, but I think I'm gonna have to just be honest with myself and say between hefty bouts of taking too much time playing with half-baked ideas, procrastination, and slight burnout, I didn't manage beyond < 72 hrs worth of work. I clearly take too much time in pre-planning and messin' about with a wide variety of themes before settling on "what to do", and it's not helped by kinda still being a novice at this gig, so it is what it is...
I am thankful for this event being a thing, tho. I'm gonna try to push myself over the course of February to rein-in whatever idealistic nonsense I had set up as a premise for my Jamuary list. I know it's beyond the scope and idea of what this is all about, so I'll only post what I reasonably finished--(one each day, three days total out of the 30 / 31)--but real-life and my own head screwed the pooch on this one, haha.

It's all good, the fact that you got some material done this month is great! A song a day is bleeding nuts, I'm so burnt out right now. I've let all sorts of chores slide off my plate this month. No one is even cleaning plates right now, our sink is stacked with dishes. I take one look at the dishes like "that's not music, I guess I can't do that..."

Thanks, Droid for organizing this challenge for I didn't waste my January. If I had a word for the challenge, that would be: rushed. But other than that, it's been fun.

I'll still continue through February, and will adhere to the ONE SONG PER DAY stipulation. Wish I had the balls like a lot of folks here to have actually done more than 3 in January itself--bit off more than I could chew, but I look forward to next year, (and, ya know, actually doing this it's just-due, properly, as it should be done.)

I got bucked by Jamuary at the last minute here. Had a ton of fun hosting a winterfest panel today but I couldn't split my time up at all this weekend. Today I'm a sad loser, but tomorrow I'll try to write something good. Fiance took me ice fishing after my winterfest panel. I may not have a song but I have these fish...
