I'm not very active on the forums, but when I saw the original post for the day, I shifted gears on my end to get a new demo release for my game out, as well as make some new sprites! I even managed to make a working HTML port for it, so you can play it here now!

Thanks for the front page! I just tweaked the first boss to be a little less frustrating and I thiiiiink I fixed a bug in the final boss fight. DM me if there's still problems. If all else fails I uploaded a standalone version on itch that doesn't have any of the bugs the HTML version has.

Didn't know "pseudo pixel art" was a thing, but seems like a lot of what I've been critiquing as somewhat good but maybe not really true to the traditional pixel aesthetic and/or procedural requirements in the making thereof fall into that category... usually with gradients and similar that clearly weren't manually drawn.
Either way though it seems like anything goes, pixel or no. You could say the day is more like a homage to the style than one defined by it, if I haven't been reading things wrong this far.
This definitely looks pretty pixel too. Looks good.
