@Afro-Ninja made a nice blog post this week, “I miss making web games.”

People have such fond memories of the Flash heydays and it’s exciting to feel that sort of energy return with a new generation, post-Flash. I’m hoping a lot more people will engage and collaborate on NG in the coming year and I’d love to see more old-timers pop in to support them along the way.

Another great month of games! Just as I was getting used to not having to review so many games, this month came back with a vengeance with a heaping helping of 'em! I'm a big scaredy-cat so luckily there weren't too many spooky games despite the October theme, but the ones that were present still freaked me out, haha!

Really amazed at the level of collaboration going on with these games! Took me a long time in my life to work up to guts to reach out to a single person like a composer for some of my games, and yet I'm seeing games with tons of hands involved like Dead Estate, GUNWYRM, Disc Gun, Yin And Yang, Little Maddie Dear, jeez, the list goes on and on! Friday Night Funkin is going to be another great example of this: can't wait till next month!

Don't think I've ever seen more parodies for a single game in one month than October. Having never played "Among Us", I felt pretty out of the loop.

Yes, I had alot of fun with it and it really helped alot of VAs show what they can do creatively. I'm fairly new to newgrounds but looking around I see that VAs don't really get recongnised as much as others like art and animation. Its a shame really because alot of effort also goes into our work. I hope in our time on the site we can bring more attention to our fellow VAs and the work they do.

Also a quick unrelated fact; I thought that Afro-ninja became a youtuber, but it's 2 different people, and I didn't understand for a while until now. Well congrats to both.
