No, you were not. You submitted a song to the audio portal so you no longer need to prove you’re working on a song.

Here's a reminder that you have two days left to submit evidence of a WIP. The acceptance rate for the WIPs is 100%. You can submit audio, a screenshot of your project, lyrics, etc. or even talk about what you have planned so far.

I sent you a message a few weeks back, I thought that was enough? I recorded more guitar today.
Here's a pic.

Thanks for the reminder! Hard to show anything through a screenshot but enjoy my colour coded mixer lol
Hi, this challenge sounds fun! If I can still join:
First choice: Ectibot - “The Forgotten Journey”
Second choice: Mutty99 - “Virtual Bond”

Your first choice is approved!
Evidence of a WIP is required every two weeks until you submit your song to the audio portal. I should have explicitly stated that in the rules - unfortunately I can't edit the original post.
I'm almost done my entry for Northpeaks Spy! I finished the composition and now I'm on the mixing stage. I also recently got Damage 2 and upgraded my Ableton to Ableton 10 (from 9)!
Here's a reminder to submit evidence of a work in progress.
One day.

My next WIP melody I plan to include elements of in my submission for Final Push:
Still working on it. Also this is a completely new project from the last WIP I posted.

~in mutty99's group of virtual bond~
Here's an updated WIP. Challenge is Final Push. I've even got a working title by smashing together a bunch of stock subtitles https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/project/1547835

Nice work! Because your song is in the audio portal (even though it's not published), you don't have to continue submitting evidence.
I suppose I'm reapplying since I only now saw the message you wrote way back. Heres what I got so far for the Destroyer thing.
Listen to and download Ultima Eternus in MP3 right here on NG or buy the lossless version! Srsly, buy it. >:c
hello, this is my evidenced work in progress. i call it work in progress, but there is a strong likelihood that i may leave it be to drift around the internet forever. this was originally going to be a quiet and intimate piano solo, but i george lucas'd it because i am no good at minimalism (am trying to get better though). the theme i chose was "virtual bond" as per suggested by "Mutty99". i spent a horribly inordinate amount of time contemplating a way to get through the theme of two lovers without going into cliches or sappiness. what i have to show is something which is likely both of these things. this is a song about two lovers, as they stand at the precipice, physically exhausted and mentally scarred; they know that through it all, the words left unspoken are the most tangible truths. sorry if this is rambling.
Shit, I thought mine wasn't due for another few days. I do have evidence of working on it, but I've been bombarded with other projects and a piece of art I was working on.
...Was I kicked from the roster? :(

Here's screenshots of what I have so far. I honestly haven't touched them in about a week, but that's because I am very unsure of the direction to go with them. I was considering making it a 4-part song where it all congeals in different ways but the tempo get faster and they're at different key settings. It's meant to be like those old school JRPG-style boss fights where the boss has several different forms before the final beatdown and ending credits roll:

I was too busy the past few days so I didn't kick you. Sign ups have slowed down a lot over the past couple weeks, and many dropped out, so I think it's safe to assume you would rejoin the same group. Thus, there's no need to make changes - you'll stay where you are in the registration :)
Hello
If it's ok for me to return to 8-bit wandering then you can sign me up again
I have a very work in progress WIP as proof I have something going on:
This sounds like my cup of tea! I can definitely come up with something, it's in my blood. COUNT ME IN!!!!

I'm glad you're interested :) When you're ready to sign up, choose your favorite two groups.
I won't be enforcing the rule to submit evidence every two weeks for a while. The registration rate has significantly gone down, and I know many people are busy with the holidays as well as other Newgrounds events. Also, at this point, anyone who has been kicked or dropped out can reenter.
First Pick: XLR Hangar
Second Pick: Destroyer Encounter
This is my current WIP screenshot. It's between 3 and 4 minutes currently. A theme for the hero at the beginning, the second half goes into more "journey"-themed sections that I'm going to continue adding to. I plan to split up some of the string ensemble tracks before I finish the piece.
1st LD-W - “Psuedonatural / Outer Planes”
2nd Everratic - “Northpeaks Spy”
