After a year we figure it’s time for the next official Newgrounds Collab to rally the community and internet beyond. This time we’re visiting a classic franchise some of you might be familiar with, Final Fantasy 7!!
APPLYING
We’re opening submissions to the community on a selective basis, while there’s a roster of people on board already, we’d like to give people the opportunity to join as well. You can apply by submitting your Username/Email/Demo Reel OR best sample of your work through our Google forms, we’ll then let you know if you’ve been accepted or not and send you an invite to the Discord Server.
Quick heads up, Kingdom Hearts shorts are ok! Any Square Enix style parody will do so long as it revolves around FF7. If you have little experience with the franchise but are dying to participate; ‘Advent Children’ is a movie sequel to the game, and an easy diving point!
Don’t take it personally if you don’t hear back, we’ll probably host this again next year so there’s always another chance to get in!

- Submissions are due by April 10th
- We’d like to accomplish this collab in a reasonable timeframe a month after the game’s release and the new generation has had its exposure to the first chapter of the new remasters!
