Two site updates since my last post: The Classic Portal got updated to the new layout and now works a lot better on mobile. We also added ratings filters to give better control over what content you find!

Search has been updated to exclude users on your block list. This is a continuation of the content filter updates we started in May, which will continue to expand into more areas of the site.

We have a big update coming to the project system and one of the new features is the ability to credit what hardware and software you use to create stuff. Animation, games and audio can currently update this info post-publishing by clicking the pencil icon in the “Edit Equipment” field, directly under tags on your public view page. Animators - it would be great if you could fill in what animation software and drawing tablet you use! For tablets, please include your model details and not just the brand - if it’s not in our database, I’ll add it.

Artists - the Art Portal results are funky today but will be fixed soon. Read more here!

I think listing hardware could be neat but also be demotivating if you look up their listed model and it's a 1,000USD and people grow up with that stigma

The best month of Newgrounds is almost here. October on Newgrounds is always a treat, but we do have some tricksters about these days so stay tuned.

Well I'm glad that my favorite games are on the top 5 for August 2019. The new update to the classic portal is alright to me, my only fuss about it, it's that the links are not highlighted anymore, after voting on the submission, also the submission should have a badge close to the title, like a star or 'V' for vote or victory (as a joke) so anyone can know that they already voted on the submission.

Another fuss for mobile version, I have to scroll down to vote on the submission from now on, I hope that you can set up the categories for mobile someday. I would love to change the judgement submission up for easy voting (when I have a busy day).

Man the month was okay for me, but a total mess for me. Also some people need to take responsibilty to browse NG outside of their homes and to their family members unaware of the website, there was a reason on why the website is set to private. :/
