To celebrate the release of Gato Roboto on Steam and Switch, we hosted a fan art contest these past few weeks.

The winners have now been selected by @Miroko and @josephbourgeois from the Gato Roboto team! Each will be receiving a Gato Roboto Steam key along with a special gift from @IvanAlmighty (when it’s finished): This small-batch poseable Gato Roboto toy!

It’s cool to listen to what sort of music is inspired by art here on NG and I love to see the two portals intermingle. Sometimes the artist also links the song under their art and you can listen in-page, admiring both pieces together:

First of all I want to thank this amazing website for promoting such a cool contest, it was a lot of fun to participate, not to mention that the game has incredible characters that really inspire fan arts. I was surprised to be at such a high position on the list, the contest really had very good arts, congratulations @JosiahSMoore (His art inspired me too hahaha) and all other participants!

This was the first contest I've ever participated and it was hella fun and all the other drawings where so good and cute I even learned some few things from them.

Now, Tom, this might be a stretch and you'd have to reach out to Devolver Digital I think, but maybe... My Friend Pedro is coming out soon and an animated trailer has just been released. Seeing as how the original was a Flash game, this could bring us some real publicity. Also, it's a fuckin badass game with Blood, Bullets and Bananas (and slowmotion) so I think it could make for some pretty kickass art.

I don't know, it could happen. A man can dream, certainly.
