Hey, I'm looking for any artist on this site that can give me advice on Cartooning/Comics. I'm thinking about (although not so soon!) making a comic book and I want to know if there are specific things that I need to know before making one. Examples being, where can I kickstart it?, what software will I need for creating it?, will I need other artist's help on this?, what is your experience when kickstarting your comic, ect.

...personally I prefer the first one, as it just feels easier to use. Have helped back a few comics there myself.

Some general advice: a drawing tablet seems almost like a necessity these days, though some artists do manage without. If you have a really ambitious project going on it seems like a good idea with helpers, but that all depends on how much time you're willing to/can dedicate to this project, and as for software: there's so much available here I'm not sure what to recommend.
