@PsychoGoldfish just rolled out forum post reactions, which you'll find at the bottom of each post along with the reply link, which used to be at the top of each post! We still have some forum nav improvements coming but focus is shifting to the Art Portal for a bit.

The art thumbnailer for animated gifs broke with the forum update. If you have a broken thumbnail, look for the thumbnail editor tool in the lower left of your view page; this will let you manually upload a replacement.

This issue also breaks the social card images for animated art. We'd like those to be fixed before we start showing full art in feeds, since it will be using the resized card images. Expect the new art upload form and full art in feeds to arrive next.

Out of all damn great movies you could have picked, you picked one that's literally just a 7 second loop and one that's a ''vlog'' animation with NOTHING impressive in it, not only that, but it's only 20 seconds long and contains nothing more than basic lip sync and animation! This whole damn ''contest'' is rigged! Rigged in the sense that a movie that has TITTIES wins!

Shame on you, Tom! Sure, it had original content, but there were other WAY more impressive and interesting movies that had original content as well.

how about some prestige mode. all my submissions get deleted and i go back to level 1 for voting power but i get those sweet Supporter trophies. High risk high reward

As a couple others have angrily shown their distaste, I can't say I'm too impressed or surprised with the top 5 movie results. The Maxine clips are nice, but underwhelming in the grand scope of a whole month's worth of submissions, and of course the hot video game collab hosted by Newgrounds itself will make its way to the top spot, haha.

That being said, I do understand that these are voted on by users who may show some biases just as anything else may tend to be scored on the site.

Regardless of that, here's to a new year of stellar and wacky creations, all crammed into our little hidey hole of the internet! :)

I think that's a common consensus at this point. :) They weren't bad but... just remarkably simple in premise compared to most of the contenders. And both of them, too. Visually appealing more than steaming with meaning.

Still do hope he keeps submitting though! They're fun to watch.

Well congrats to the winners of Dec 2018. Well I'm not surpised to admit, that those submissions created by Turbobalak, would get to the Top 5 Movies Selection of last month. But NG has been a private website and always had NSFW submissions for a long time now. It always has the weird users here (I'm somewhat of a weird user too) Now the 2019 year supporter badge is here. I plan on buying it for next week, because I have to buy other stuff for my new semester and get ready to work or study on my subjects. I like the colors of the badge from what JohnnyUtah chose by the way. I do have some mixed feelings about having the reacts in the forum posts now. I have a lot of work to do with this (I think I already typed about this). Also I don't think the reply button should be at the bottom of the post... Well I hope that 2019 can bring us something special along the way.
