So I'm working on a new set of 3D characters and outfits and so on to put on my CGTrader shop: https://www.cgtrader.com/acethesupervillain
I've got a bunch of girl characters up, next I'm working on male versions and some JRPG inspired outfits.
To begin with, I picked my favorite jobclass, the Red Mage. Except not a red mage because the clothes can be palette swapped.
I thought about calling them Magiteers, since they remind me of musketeers:
Also, some asked for Ninja, and it seemed a good enough thing to do next.
Also working on male characters. Here's the Male Orc, which turned out surprisingly cute. I haven't made any male clothing yet.
I think maybe the arms aren't long enough. Arrgh, that'll be a pain to fix for each character...
So today my contribution to civilization was to make a see-through senshi suit. And then put a pig into it:
And then of course, I thought civilization could benefit more from a pin-up series. There's more, but I'll have to upload them later, I have work in 5 hours and I need to sleep.
You can support me by purchasing models like this from cgtrader.com/acethesupervillain or donating via patreon.com/acethesupe...
One of my patrons asked me to do more animations, and it is something I've been meaning to do. So here's a quick little loop ...
This one I'm a little unsure about. She's a wyvern. I like wyverns. I also like having zany monster parts like the wing arms. I'd like to be able to use a similar style of wing for creatures like phoenixes and thunderbirds. But i'm worried that it's too weird. Would people actually buy this one?
On the other hand, I have it, so it's no big deal to just upload it and see if anyone wants it. Also, it's not like it's any weirder than that hydra character...
I should be thinking serious questions like that, but all I can actually think is erhmahgerd, so adorable...!
Your work is great! Not my taste but still undeniably great. I am currently looking for some people to help me with producing a game for my college project. If you're interested be sure to hit me up a message as I am so terrible at 3D modeling.

I don't really have time for freelance work right now. But you can purchase some models from my shop here: https://www.cgtrader.com/acethesupervillain
Thanks for the compliments. It's hard to keep going when it feels like no one's watching, I really appreciate it.
Added a Rogue outfit today. So I guess the idea is that once I get a game's worth of jobclasses, I'll upload them all to CGT. I also want to finish the male characters, and I should add male outfits, and I want to finish the color palettes.
The other project today was a Psychic outfit. I always liked the idea of psychic powers, but they don't show up much in jobclasses so this one is mostly based on Pokemon trainers.
Today's project was the Cleric and WuXia. The WuXia was kinda spur of the moment, and I'm a little unsure about it, so I'll probably come back and tweak that a bit more later. For now, I'm out of brains.
I actually wasn't sure what to call the WuXia. It's an okay name, but I wouldn't mind something that sounds a little more universal, and I'm familiar with the term, but it's probably gibberish to a lot of my customers. I wanted something that suggests speed, my idea for the class is that they forgo heavy armor to increase their speed for martial arts, but they can still use big weapons like swords and spears. I saw some examples of this kind class called Swashbuckler or Duelist, but that makes me think of pirates and rapiers, not kung fu. It could be called something like Blade Master, but I like them as potential pole-arm users. In the past, I've thought of calling some speed-related classes Aces, so that might work.
Today's project, release the Kraken!
I thought of a way to rig tentacle hands and, also thought of a few future creatures that I might want to reuse this system for. It's also an extension of the rig for the Hydra hands, so possibly a way to do more advanced Hydra-like creatures as well.
Part of making new characters is making new color palettes for them. 16 apiece. Sometimes I end up making the same palettes twice, but I think I did okay this time.
Today's second project, the Nekomata!
Actually, I've been thinking, it would be nice to just upload updates like this to the shop each day instead of waiting for a big shipment. But to do that, I feel like I need to test a few more concepts, so that I can get it right the first time and don't need to make changes after uploading. Kraken tests the tentacle hands, Nekomata tests the short anthro face. It should work with the same bones as the humanoid face, so I don't need to add any more animation points. I still need to check if the skinning is right, but the look of it is alright for now.
And the color palettes for the Nekomata. They actually feel a little bland compared to some of the other creatures I've done, but that's okay, it's good to have something that feels "normal" in the collection. I might go back and add some stripes, but that was a pain in the ass for the Lizardian, so I might skip it.
