I recently started the toon boom 21 day free trial so I could see what I could do on the software before I buy, However I can't understand the tutorials for the life of me, So I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to start animating in toon boom, I know how to pull up the time line and add panels but thats it.
please help
Toon Boom's site has some good free courses with video modules for Storyboard Pro and the different version of Harmony. (I'm going to assume you want the ones for Harmony Essentials to get started) There's also the documentation, webinars, and templates. Their YouTube channel has some useful tutorials and webinars to check out. ToonBoomTips is also good for more specific tips and tricks.
There's a lot of YouTube channels teaching Harmony these days. Take a look at Jesse J. Jones, Jon Taylor, Frank Summers, Onion Skin, Kyu-bum Lee, Stylus Rumble, Vince Bell, Oli, Manamations, etc.

I did not find the toon boom courses helpful but I did Learn ABUNCH from watching toon boom youtubers
This user actually uploaded a decent Toon Boom tutorial on NG a while back. https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/691030 It's a shame that it didn't get more recognition here.

Onion Skin does some pretty awesome tutorials.. I found him coz Jazza endorsed him! He's actually the reason I got Toon Boom instead of Flash
