It says in the original post that your cartoon can be in full colour. It doesn't need to be like Cuphead either, just like a 1930's sort of style. Check out the videos like "Bimbo's Initiation" posted as reference materials.

This is a tricky one.
So far I've got some titles made in 1930s style, even has a nice jittery film effect in 4x3 aspect.
No idea what I'm going to make yet but I'm liking the look of my test scene.

You can get creative with it and mix some old and new.

I'd imagine any type, as long as it's an actual robot..

Digging through the audio portal for some 30s ragtime music should be fun too.

Shouldn't NASA's Valkyrie be on the list?

Is there a minimum or maximum length for the animation?

I've got an idea but it might be a bit short..

There's no minimum this round, so don't worry

@TomFulp At what point does a sex robot count as modern enough? Asking for a friend.

What's kind of 1930s cartoons would be?

Most 1930s cartoons are black and white but Disney introduced color cartoons since 1932 with Flowers and Trees.

the new design layout is pretty neat, very warm and progressive. It's nice how there is a limit on the amount of photos in a group that can be linked together too.

technically, the Disney short flowers and trees introduced the tri colour process (Technicolor) in the 1930s, so should be okay. Can also probably go with red/green two colour process.

I bet that 1930's inspired robot music is just pouring in right now. Because When I think robots, I think of big band jazz and Duke Ellington.

Crap, I didn't finish my animation on time... Since it's almost finished I'll still post it, but eh, it's a bummer that this always happens with my animations.
