I've been working on this today. I work really really slow, I'll have to finish it tomorrow.
I struggle a lot with layers and keeping them organized. I don't even know what goes wrong but I end up always having to create a new layer on top of everything for fixing things etc.
Did the eyes and nose from scratch. I think I spend too much time messing things up with the layer system. I made more progress saying "fuck it" and just painting on top of everything.
All I have left now is to re-do the mouth and ears. Possibly add a bit of light blue backlight to reflect off certain parts
Did some figure sketching today. Not bad for the first time. Was pretty fun adjusting things and trying to get things to make sense proportions wise. If only I knew how to draw clothes.
Been working on this all day today. My first commission! I'm doing it for free but this is the first time someone asked me to make something for them. Having a lot of fun doing this.
I also switched from Photoshop to Krita, so adjusting while working on this was pretty tricky. I think I'm kind of getting the hang of it. What do you all think? I still have to clean up all the linework once I'm sure about it.
Here's a little something I've been working on. I feel like getting the background right is going to take a while. I know jack shit about perspective. Zelda Minish Cap was my first ever game on my gameboy back in the day and probably first ever video game in general.
I want to try to capture that nostalgia for myself. Seeing all the screenshots I'm using for references brings back so many fond memories.
Hey I made an alien seahorse thing. I draw pokemon fusions when I'm bored and I decided to make this one a bit more stylized
