You had to have collabed with the same person when you auditioned. I don't believe you did so no, it wouldn't work

@LakePixel You're expected to make a piece from scratch for the competition. You aren't supposed to start working on it until after July 9th. The description of your piece makes it clear that this is not the case.

Well, everyone's piece is going to sound better in WAV form - it's just a higher quality format, but it also eats up a lot of CPU. I think it's only fair that everyone submit their piece on NG (i.e., in MP3 format), but if other people disagree I'm willing to hear your arguments.
Also, have you tried adjusting the bit rate of the MP3 conversion (if possible in your DAW)? The default setting often isn't the highest quality setting in my experience.

@Abendland You're expected to make a track from scratch for this round. Submitting a piece from January 2016 isn't going to fly. Sorry! If there's any track you have that you've made from start to finish after July 9th, then that's the one you need to submit. Otherwise, you have 9 hours left.

No, though often tracks that are too short or too long FEEL too short or too long. If it feels right to you, then submit away!
