last ngadm my average was about 7 hours. there wasn't really a correlation between working time and score, though
i think i'm better at working faster now compared to two years ago. only one way to find out though :>

That's great. Nailing a track in 3 hours is fairly impressive! SoundChris seems to have crunch it out really quick too. Do you find you get fatigued if you put in too many hours?

definitely, although i'll work for longer when i'm inspired by something. but then i also like to work on something from beginning to end (more or less) in one go. it's weird!
3 hours is probably the minimum for something that i'd consider worth entering. my audition piece was done in 2:45 and it kinda shows in the scores (except for @TaintedLogic cause they're crazy haha)

I actually think that's a great way of working, I've fallen into a habit of creating something but spending too long on it, I end up disliking it too much then it falls into the abyss. I think my folders at number 206 of dumped files. XD So being able to crank it out quick is great!
Here's my submission. First time I've sung for an upload which is fun. Wish I had more time, but the time-limit is a great factor of NGADM!
PS. I mentioned it in my Author Comments, but does anyone have a recommendation for a good free de-esser? If I had even five more minutes to work on this, I'd frantically try to fix that aspect of the vocals, but hot damn I don't have even one free second between now and when this is due.
