One thing i noticed is how hidden away unscouted artists are. It's really difficult to be judged, receive critique, or even been seen in the first place.
So the question stands, am i alone in thinking unscouted artists should have a front page spot? ie below high ranking classics. I feel like if unscouted artists are more easy to see, we can help them be apart of the community, and artists who deserve to be scouted will find themselves scouted much sooner.
As of now being unscouted feels like being invisible, when i feel like as a community we should encourage, and help those aspiring to be great. Then, hopefully, they can look back on all the turbulence, and see newgrounds as the place they got their footing

I do see your point, and I do kind of agree with it in some ways. I think it might be a good idea to give them a little more exposure, but at the same time not. It might sound bad, but hear me out:
From my own experiences of being unscouted, it was super rewarding when I finally did become scouted because of how much you gain from it and just the feeling of "moving up." Of course, I can't speak for everyone, but I feel like reward is a huge thing.
But that aside, unscouted artists don't have to be invisible since it's not just the portals that give people exposure. Starting an art thread is especially helpful for this, since it both helps you interact with the community and also helps give aspiring artists feedback since a ton of people check into the art forum to give out critique.
So in my opinion, I think it's more of a matter of reaching out rather than sitting and waiting for views, and that goes the same for the regular art portal. I get over 5x less the amount of views versus people who draw NSFW art, and that number would be much lower if I never interacted with anyone or made a thread.

Also hey, there's no right or wrong opinion (it's a discussion for a reason). So no worries and best of luck. ;v;
