You would not believe that I've passed up this website for years thinking it was another gaming website until this website kept popping up on the 4chan boards.

I'm an illustrator, I'm new around here. I would like to introduce myself to this community.

I like to draw a little bit of everything, from human figures to cartoons and quick boss Ross style background paintings and comic books.

I would like to share ideas and get to know the fellow artists here on Newgrounds. You never know, maybe we can work together and build a great partnership!

There's a lot off solid color use going on in the underlying painting of all of these posted drawings so far, however that excessive use of bloom and particularly the intense white hides a lot of it. I'm all for extreme contrasts, but I think that the balance of your intense whites and deep blacks is off and making the paintings look overall worse than they would with more interspersed areas of light areas and dark areas. Maybe the issue is the looseness of most of what's being presented, it hits that middle ground between standard stylized representation and impressionistic that looks indecisive and that may be what's throwing me off more than anything. That being said the straight bloomy whites are definitely something to look into toning down

You've got a lot of good going on in there though, keep posting up and switching up your brushes and methods, play with color, it can do a lot of very interesting things when altered even a bit.

^Thanks for the C&C's. Yeah, I can get a bit crazy with the contrast, it's something my art teacher hammer into me long ago. :D

Which medium tools are you using? It looks you are using a digital tablet with opition of oil painting brush technique in the digital program.

It looks like you doing kinda of more realistic dreamy like state and less, cartoony. Me, some are abit too bright I would add bit shadows.
