Also the face tracking feature works pretty good though it wasn't exactly a buttery smooth transition as seen in the demonstration on nintendo's website.
Did you figure it out and get it to work?

it did take a while to get familiar with the new button placements but I'm studying up the controls for Legend of zelda Ocarina of time currently haven't gotten into the nitty gritty of the battle system yet. Gonna have to get a game that formally used the circle pad pro so that I can used to all the other buttons in practice.

Sounds like a good idea. You want to be ready for it, when you get the game.

I also got the system so that I could finally play a few of the Snes games available on the virtual console anywhere I could take it to go so the portability is the most practical thing for me.

The Portability factor is really useful. Playing SNES games is always a good idea.

PC, Gameboy, N64, Nes, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, DS Lite, 3DS. That's pretty much it until a new console is released.

I dunno. It's entirely possible that once I have enough power on my PC, I just might ditch consoles entirely or something. It's not like I would need anything else by that point...

Why would you just ditch consoles?

Have you always preferred Sega over Nintendo and Sony?

A PC still counts as a game system.

Yeah, I think it was because Nintendo was more expensive and had less availability where I lived. I'm not a big fan of their IPs either.

I had some good times with the Famicom and the Game Boy, don't get me wrong, but my best memories are of the Genesis and -especially- the Dreamcast. I was blown away by it at the time. All my friends had a PS1, and I remember them being envious of the games I got to play.

That console had one of the best game libraries ever, which is surprising when you consider how short lived it was.

By the time the PS2-pocalypse came around (and all my friends upgraded) I got my first gaming pc, and the difference between that and the PS2 were similar to that of the Dreamcast vs the PS1, so there never was really a reason for me to jump on the Sony train. I kept going back to the console from time to time, but it was sad to see it go away like that. It deserved better.

That should be a great game, and don't forget the new Zelda. I have been looking forward to Breath of the Wild.

Now that you have a PC, you can check out some on the NES and SNES games that you missed out on.

The Dream Cast did have great games. Crazy Taxi was great for a driving game.

Many gamers have decided to go PC, and never looked back. There is nothing wrong with doing that route. It is good to keep an open mind whenever Nintendo makes a new gaming system. The Switch could really revolutionize consoles.

I have played every single nintendo console or handheld, (not including virtual boy, and not every model of every nintendo system). but I own a Wii, Wii U, a DSi, a 3DSxl, and the PC I'm using right now. (nintendo freak I know)

There is nothing wrong with liking Nintendo and supporting them. You just have to get the Switch when it comes out.

Hopefully I can get my hands on that and the new legend of zelda's special limited edition.

You should start saving your money now. They will fly off the shelves when they finally are released. I really want to get the Switch as soon as possible.

Already have been. I had a big amount saved up when they first were available to pre-order, but they were gone by the time I woke up and watched the live presentation.

Pre-ordering is the best way to make sure that you will get any game. If not, you have to be fast and lucky to get it on the release date.

I once almost beat the first ever game, but when I got locked into the room with ganon I realized I forgot the silver arrows. :[

You almost made it to the end. You can always try it again. Check out the great ending.

Not that anyone cares, but I'll throw up a list for posterity.

NES x2
Super Nintendo
Nintendo 64 x2 - Bought an extra one cheap at a flea market that I keep meaning to sell off
WiiU
DS
3DS
3DS XL
Sega Master System
Sega Game Gear
Sega Dreamcast - Actually bundled this one with the N64 at the same flea market just for display purposes since I don't own any Dreamcast games and there aren't many I want to play that you can't find somewhere else.
Playstation
PS2
PS4
Xbox 360 x3 - Don't really know why I'm keeping two red ringed 360s lying around

The only systems I've ever gotten rid of were my Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance that I gifted away at some point.

Nice Nintendo collection, but you need a Wii

Sega Master System
Sega Game Gear

Sega used to be a decent company, but now they work for Nintendo, making games.

Playstation
PS2
PS4
Xbox 360 x3 - Don't really know why I'm keeping two red ringed 360s lying around

You must really like the Xbox 360
