"Social media"
Makes us more antisocial
Than ever before.
Just delete Facebook
From your life entirely—
You'll have more free time!
Haiku? I'll try to
Time runs like mountain lion
Slow down... catch my breath
Long days stretched out to
yawn. More food, more sleep. Would I
trade rest for purpose?
Holidays are nice,
But thoroughly exhausting!
Time to hibernate...
Cold cut coconut
Burns with fragrant aroma!
Smoked, cold cut coco
It's 1 o' clock now
And I'm writing a haiku
Wtf's my life?
Artificial limb?
Superficial limits and
Law. Art official.
Frigid and frosty
Days; counting down until the
End of one more year.
Winter here, Summer
There, but two thousand eighteen
Is coming up fast.
Where has the year gone?
Twelve months go by in a flash...
At least in hindsight.
I should listen to
My inner vision true, make
Day by day haiku
A haiku for the
Day on which it rains and snow
Falls at the same time
High above our heads,
rain became ice, chilled by hard
hearts in a torn land.
Another day gone
lacking all motivation
Huddled in my room
Days they go bye fast!
Feels like yesterday's today
Problem's tomorrow
It's been a long time,
So here's another haiku,
Maybe some more soon.
Filling in the gap
Like a lapse of time or math
Laugh and line sorrow
Haven't submitted
New music in quite a while.
Oh, yeah...Pixel Day!
Picture a Pixel...
Now picture a thousand! That's
The promise and hope
A haiku a day
World's still slaving away
Keeps the brain okay
Writing a haiku
Is like a breath of fresh air
When the world feels stale
Stir around the world!
Warm it up... don't burn it down!
Too much stirring now
Then instead of snow
We'll have coal; blackened ashes
Coating our ground
Humiliation
Without representation
Causes stagnation.
Of that I am sure,
But what on earth is it for?
Shaken to the core.
Rhymes without meaning!
There is none that I'm gleaning...
Who's intervening?
They started a fight.
Both sides thought that they were right.
I'm done, so goodnight!
Our purpose, what is
This search on Earth for bliss? I
Sometimes wonder why...
Rhyme takes all my time,
And outside looms the sky that
Turns to dark and night
When do we start? When
Will we embark on flights to
The furthest corner
Of the universe!
In our search for warmth and life...
And wonder... my mind.
Christmas time is close!
I suppose I should mosey
Over and go see
What is waiting on
Us under the inner oak tree
I mean Christmas pine
Day after Christmas
Clouds are on the rise, a soft
Melancholy rain
Haiku in the wind
Time blows past like a typhoon
New days now begin
A surge of light and
Fire! Flames of the cosmos!
Want to go outside...
A rushed haiku is
Better than no haiku, no?
To haiku or not...
Chores be monotone
Unlike my stereo, yo!
It be blaring strong
The world weighs heavy
The weight of the world and all
Weighs heavy on me
