I don't recommend;
If you rub the blood stain
You ruin the carpet

Take my advice man
You need another plan
Peroxide instead

Bubble fizzle gone.

But that is too much of a fizzle,
as well as a hassle,
do I need to state the triple,
as to why you shouldn't be brittle?

But I do like this
Shizzle! That fizzles, crackles,
And tackles the stain!

It shackles it fast,
It does stuff... and in a flash!
Stainless... yet again

A haiku a day!
It's so far away! I stall!
Stray! A call! OK!

Get out! Go AWOL
And walk till they call: the walls,
That keep me at bay.

Get in and I think...
I'll write on a whim, something,
Till it goes away.

In our wicked world,
Flags rise and flagships fall down,
Fallen to our doom

Rising through the fall,
Madmen on steps of greatness,
Winter takes it all.

In our wicked world,
Horns blare and warmist lingers,
And we grow stronger!

On and on and on,
For a Christmas song, we long,
In our wicked world.

Messy, messy, messy product of late night thought about my time on Newgrounds. Not entirely coherent, with a reference to Lil Wayne getting raped by Birdman at some point... Yeah.

The moderator
Dutiful and vigilant
And ever watchful

My admiration
gave way to aspiration
over many years

Watching shepherds oft
Tend Newgrounds' unruly flock
and then clean some Clocks

Often literal
because these crews could be cocks,
Glocks, cats, even Locks

Whose spam was frequent
and shenanigans more so,
as was mighty B

Clock day, glorious
might see thousands of flashes
grace the great Portal

Such bygone time, that
the then dominance of flash
gone, seems, in a flash

and with it, the crews
who by and large up and flew
for greener pastures

When something came up
that Newgrounds wasn't hip to
as much as YouTube

New integration
speed and flexibility
HTML5

This would replace flash
Populate most of the web
kickstart flash games' fall

It didn't take long
Popularity did fade
as do the seasons

Some years came and went
and we began to feel them
flash, a dying beast

HTML5
constantly climbing higher,
We had to adapt

so adapt we did
HTML5 added
Fashionably late

At the same time, though
the internet had fractured
more so than before

And we lost traffic.
Near invisibility,
Same we have today

Wasnt long before
The giants smelled weaker flesh
and came stomping in

Google black-listed
Preyed upon, victims of greed,
with slim bank accounts

Popularity
and wallet disparity
Can be dangerous

We soon found this out
Experienced it first hand
with the usual threats

Our portals, gold mines
to richer, malicious eyes
We'd soon pay for it

Labels wanting cash
Royalties for samples used
They say, cash or die

Now one could argue
record labels have a right
to take down our site

... if, and only if
NG was for pirating,
not fresh creations

But labels see cash
and cash only; copyright
and violations

because of this farce,
We are clipped and neutered
Many classics gone

Copyrighted crap,
now grounds for crap deletion
Else, goodbye Newgrounds!

Be subject to this
Else, be subject to demise
Fate unwise to fight

Thus bullies won out
Got their money-grubbing way
while we saved our skins

But what's worse, you say?
this likely isn't the end
Bullies never quit

Remember "Blurred Lines"
What's to stop a repeat here?
Similar, not same!

See Thicke and Pharrel?
took inspiration from Gaye
and thought the same thing

The Gaye's saw money
sued the pants off these two cats
and you know, they won!

This could be us next
if things keep going down like this
NG? Nay, the world!

In a world like ours
the music monopoly
spells death for the art

Hell, you might as well...
Kiss chord progressions goodbye --
Belong to labels

or even "coffee"
because that's an album name
so you can't use it

As bots stroll the net
writing bad DMCA's
based on text, not sound

Yes, you heard me right
and the law lifts no finger
about this nonsense

We sit defenseless
while Google reviews millions,
Who knows how many

Labelscan rape you
if you don't do what they want
aided by their wealth

Big banks permit rape?
Well, Bird got away with Wayne
Situation's same.

So, censor, delete
We hate copyright, but still
We fight infringement

While some dumb pirates
make our lives even harder
uploading their thefts

Soiling our good name
Uploading crap for GD
Geometry Dash

They don't care for us
the Newgrounds community
only custom songs

They don't understand
What they do is piracy
and worse, they don't care

Songs stolen daily
sometimes from NG users
often baffling

And patterns emerge
Same songs, artists, EDM
well, for the most part

Theft was so widespread
almost unmanageable
we needed more mods

I; @LexaHergon
Now added to their number
to stem the deluge

decade of patience
repaid with this great honor
I, moderator

to leave no excuse
that we "don't try hard enough"
to play by the rules

through dutiful work,
tasked to preserve our future
that we might recall

and hope to avoid
internet impermanence,
the phenomenon

at the labels' hands,
to try, at least have a chance
is all I could want.

I think you broke the
record for the number of

I had thirty-six
last November. Yours is a
whopping fifty-six.

I spot a typo
Caused by formatting error:
Labelscan rape you

As if the label
Scanned you like at the airport
A canned dude. Tin foils.

But man that haiku...
Was amazing. A clear train
Of thought through each line

Ah, @CyberDevil
It does seem you are correct
I didn't see. Whoops!

Although, I suppose
Labels scan the internet...
these days anyway

Hmm, @TaintedLogic
I had no grasp of records
though still may return

Interesting place,
celebrating the haiku
Is worth visiting!

@Decky, what say you?
Sneezing so, could turn nasty
had you HIV

I'm hoping you jest
Rather than render yourself
Irresponsible

You could go to jail
if caught spreading STDs
knowingly, at least!

Oh, it's illegal!
Interesting. Not that I...
Have any such plans.

Those labels should be
Weary! Spreading diseases
As they do. Online.

Offline? Off the grid,
There's not much to do there now.
It's better, that way.
