a) You can pretty much call me by my username - brutalexcess. Alternatively, you may take a formal approach and call me Luke, if you wish.
b) I pretty much like writing anything.
c) The first thing I have ever written that I want to publish at a later date in life is the commercial video game series (original work) called The Spiritual Transition(TM), which will consist of a lot of sub-stories in many formats - a script designed for the video game itself; a lore book which consists of the story that video game resides and what world; a script for an animated movie based on the video game and the lore; and if necessary, many guides and reports on the video game's universe and the story so far.
My current work, A Pilgrim's Path, currently has one episode written, and I am currently practicing my portrait drawing in pencil. I recently purchased an art set and a sketch pad to do drawings for a storyboard so that I may convert it into a movie and hopefully present it on NG. A Pilgrim's Path will also be a commercial work (eventually).
I have also written (mostly) a script based on a video game series called Power of the Mind, but decided against developing the game as I did not feel comfortable developing it at my current C# expertise. Eventually, I just want to design the worlds, stories and events that occur in these video games rather than do the development - it seems to be more my kind of thing.
d) My greatest strength is definitely creativity. From what you have seen above, I am pretty sure you can gather I am creative and very enthusiastic about my projects. My weakness is unfortunately my lack of concentration and being able to stick to one project at any given time. I think this was inherited from my father coupled by my addiction to caffeine, both playing a part in my failure to complete projects; consequently, I lack self-motivation and my caffeine addictions is somewhat the motivator. Eventually, I want to design my video games and present them to the world, unfortunately I have a lot to work on!
Good luck to everyone else wishing to join this club. I feel confident myself, even if I appear strange at times, which I am pretty sure everyone can be. Grammar I know for a fact is not my greatest strength either, but I learn new things to improve it. Gradually, I will pursue this and hopefully find a career in story design and video game script writing, as I enjoy writing and designing worlds and stories - particularly RPG worlds!
