Am i doing something wrong? Same happens if I try to upload a game icon...

Despite my best efforts, I won't be able to finish my game in time. I mean, I could rush it, but I'd be kicking myself over how much better the game could have been given more time. I should have started the game a month ago rather than waiting until the Monday before the deadline, haha.
I look forward to playing all the games. Looks like there might be some really cool entries this time around.

Does anybody happen to know if uploading an updated version of your game removes or resets the save data? I noticed that while working on the game via the project manager, my save data would always reset to defaults when i uploaded a newer version of it... so i was wondering if that was something that only happened while the game is unpublished.
Typically, save data is reset if you change the name of your SWF file - were you uploading it with a new file name each time, such as incremental numbers?

I said before to not worry about time zones but I suppose an exact cut-off would be nice... Does 3am EST / 12am PST sound fine? The reality is you could get away with sneaking in improvements over the weekend, but your submission date should preferably be 3/28 or early hours of 3/29.
Unfortunately, my submission won't be made for the jam. What we've decided to do though is make it into a bigger, better full game instead. I think it'll be worth the trade off.

I've decided the same thing for my game as well. There's no point in uploading a very short, bug-filled game with minimum game mechanics when I can make a much bigger and funner game with some more time. I wish I had been paying more attention to Tom's posts, cause then I would have had 5 weeks instead of just 2 weeks to try and make a game. Oh well, I hope to do more game jams in the future, and maybe then I can win something (yeah right!).
I look forward to playing all of the games from this jam, though. It's been fun!

As I upload this, it is 11:10 PM (PDT), so I'm barely making the deadline, if not late. LOL.
I created this game in one day so I didn't have enough time to make my own art and used the kit. I basically just took one of the demos and mod it to my liking.
So I put a lot of effort into the game mechanic which I thought was really interesting. Hope you enjoy.

I hail from stencyl bringing thanks and appreciation for you(Tom, and who ever else at newgrounds made this possible) holding this jam. I had been in a bit of a slump and this jam helped motivate me to work on a new project and complete it, and hopefully more to come.
I also wasn't familiar with newgrounds before. I had no idea it wasn't just another flash game portal. There's so much here!... I guess I'm kind of late to the party, huh?

It's never too late to join the party! NG is the Flash Portal that spawned all other Flash Portals.. The Alpha and the Omega of Flash Portals. But also a lot beyond Flash now too.

Woah dude.. Now that I'm playing Spiderling I have no idea why the score is a 3.07, this game should be waaaay higher! This Stencyl Jam is becoming harder and harder to judge as I go down the list!

Thanks guys. I think the controls and difficulty might be a deal breaker for many players, giving it a mediocre score.
