They were there before with two notable differences (we jiggled that stuff around a bit over the past couple of days):

1. They were in list format (so just plain text links)
2. There was nothing there to prevent them including any of the daily winners. Now that list only contains stuff that hasn't currently been picked as a daily winner.

Are you finding that stuff a bit more eye-catching?

Yes, definitely, though it's pretty low on the page. The only reason I noticed it was because I was looking at the daily message. It would be neat if we could move those pods around too.

I really enjoyed River city Ridiculous as well. The animation is so incredibly sloppy that it just... adds to the whole thing :D Even the trash can sound effect being nothing more than a crinkly soda can was great. Even as silly as it is, I know a ton of work went into it; I think it deserves a better score than it got. Ah well.

I see you reviewed it as well! Crazy plot, crazy animation and a dern nice frame rate! Glad Tom spotted such a Newgroundsian gem! Works like this used to be commonplace here, as were the one-hit wonders, who published and were never heard from again :( The author's YouTube statement was quite succinct.... gotta love the quiet (creative) ones!
