Congrats to the winners and thank you everyone who helped make Robot Day a special day on NG!
Also thank you everyone for bearing with us through months of publishing bugs and the transition to the new publishing system, which introduced some new bugs that are being fixed. Our spring / summer cleaning will hopefully be wrapped up by the fall. A lot of back-end work is being done with how we process and store text, so that special characters no longer turn into garbage and long text strings don't get broken up with spaces. We're also changing to HTML5 Doctype and all this other boring stuff that will allow us to provide structured data for search engines.
PsychoGoldfish has two exciting updates that were dependent on the recent updates to the view page and are likely to launch this month!
Game Jam 9 winners will be announced next week.
Today is August 1st, check your account page to see if you're on the panel to select the Best of July! We sent a mass-PM last month which was hugely successful in raising voter awareness, but it wasn't a very efficient method in terms of data load. We're working on something that integrates with the notification system instead so you might not receive a notification about it this month.
