Depends how far back it counts to be Nostaliga, as if Dreamcast era Skies of Arcadia, if PS1 era then Final Fantasy 8, if Amiga era then Simon the Sorcerer. If Snes then Star Wing.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is pretty nostalgic for me

The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called...

Hide and seek.
But if we are talking video games, Hexen II and Doom bring fond memories.
I can still enjoy those today.

It's a tie between Final Fantasy 8 or Altered Beast for me.

I'd have to say Resident Evil. I grew up with a lot of games but that one is by far my favorite from the 90s. I just love the blocky graphics. :3

Banjo-Kazooie.

It's still my favourite game.

Alex the Kid. Oh the countless hours i've spent playing it. Now i find the game rather easy but back when i was a little boy... man was it difficult.

SimCity 2000

In the late '90s I was so addicted that for a time I've forsaken just about everything else (movies) just to play it.

Nowadays I can't even bring myself to play it again.

A truly prophetic sig...

TMNT 4: Turtles in Time. It was an arcade brawler that ported well to the SNES. Played the shit out of that as a kid.

It'd be a really tough one between Donkey Kong Country 2, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Hey guys, you should totally check out my YouTube channel.

Also, dat Steam

Disaster Report for the PS2. I played and re-played and re-played that game waaay too much to be healthy. And Snake Eater, same story, just, I still own a copy of that.

FF6, every time I play it. Ocarina of Time for the 3DS recently set off some major Nostalgasms.

My personal favorite childhood game was Goldeneye, that old James Bond game. I remember playing that game when my hands wouldn't even fit the N64 controller properly. I vaguely recall never actually completing any objectives, and just running around shooting the enemies for fun.

I would often give a notion to the Donkey Kong Series done by Rare Ware.
Kirby's Dreamland 2
Pokemon Gold
Gex 2 was pretty good to
EarthWorm Jim 2 even though it was hard to get through that one level with the catapolted Sumo wrestlers

I have many fond memories of Tony Hawk pro skater 3.
Sonic 3 and knuckles
Disgaea
LoZ link to the past.

Crash Bandicoot
Metroid: Fusion
Metroid Prime

I want to play Fusion and Prime so hard right now but I lost my Gameboy and my copy of Fusion and I think I sold my Gamecube.

So sad because the nostalgia is hitting me like a brick of sacks.

I actually just bought that one through GOG. So far it seems fun, just full of bizarre cutscenes and character stereotypes. Really different from all the other sims I've tried earlier.

Games were certainly more expansive towards experimentation of ideas during 90s - to mid 2006
