Depends how far back it counts to be Nostaliga, as if Dreamcast era Skies of Arcadia, if PS1 era then Final Fantasy 8, if Amiga era then Simon the Sorcerer. If Snes then Star Wing.

Final Fantasy 8 for me too, Ocarina of Time is up there too.

My personal favorite childhood game was Goldeneye, that old James Bond game. I remember playing that game when my hands wouldn't even fit the N64 controller properly. I vaguely recall never actually completing any objectives, and just running around shooting the enemies for fun.
