First to be selected in the Linux Menu? Why is Zorin OS selected as the default OS to start up first? Is there a way to change that so each time I want to go Windows, I don't have to press down. I rather have to press down for Zorin's Os.

I presume your bootloader is either GRUB or LILO. not "the Linux menu."
But you're going to have to google it to find instructions that accurately pertain to your software.

Yeah it's grub, I forgot the name of it. Grub is the most common one, and I hate how the Grub Menu looks personally. I personally would prefer just Text to boot an OS not something trying to be fancy looking.

I'm here all day, folks!

Please continue making outdated internet references while you're here.

It sounds like Linux and Windows don't mix well. :)

I have a similar problem. I have both Lubuntu and W7 on my PC. The default OS to boot is W7, so if I turn on the PC and go make some food while waiting, Windows will automatically be selected, because I get a few seconds to decide. Annoying because I prefer trying out Lubuntu.

Use grub-customizer.

What the hell man. You mean the config file, right?

It's actually the other way around. The Windows bootloader doesn't support multiple operating systems, so if you install Windows on a machine with Linux already installed, you're fucked.

Configuring GRUB is shit easy. It even has a graphical config which I posted above.

Please stop using the word "source code". If you do that, you're gonna have to first retrieve the source code from the repositories, edit it, then recompile it and replace the original version with your own custom version.

If you want to change the default boot selection manually, simply edit the "GRUB_DEFAULT" field in "/etc/default/grub", then run "update-grub" as root user. (which is written on top of the file) (GRUB_DEFAULT counts from the top of the boot selection menu, starting at 0)

Woah woah woah, I didn't say I wanted to spend 40 hours on fixing the problem.
