They did this because that way they have something to show at e3. Look at the bright side ,we got a release date, kind of. And can this play ps2 3, 2 and 1 games, did they say anything about backwards compatibility?

Single interesting thing shown was Watch Dogs, which is multiplatform and already shown months ago.

If it keeps the cost of the console down then I genuinely hope that it doesn't have backwards compatibility. I've got a PS2 and fat PS3 still which I don't foresee me getting rid of. Thats the least of my worries.

- The controller.
- Livestreaming games (but Ustream sucks though).
They should've shown the console itself or at least a design of what it will look like, no one is going to buy something ugly or a brick.
