Yo.
Oh man, those colours... This is good.
Gonna be heading to Calgary Expo in about a week!
Pretty stoked to see some familiar artists again and meet some new ones.
Man I love your work and I am in no place to give you a critique, I just realized I pm'd you a while back for advice on linework that really helped me out, thanks once again and keep up the good work.
@MAJ1CK : Anyone is in position to voice their opinion. Speaking what's on your mind helps build confidence.
Anyway, cats.
Just got back from the Calgary Expo. Some sketches can be found on this tumblr post.

The necessity of exaggeration in individual images is important to give an idea of movement. I haven't been practicing it and I'm helluva rusty.

You ever accomplish that goal to sell more fan art then original art?
@ZaneZansorrow : After this con I think my sales have become quite equal now. I think I am confident enough to represent people's beloved characters in a proper manner now.

I'm curious about that goal to sell more fanart than original - Why would one be preferable over the other?
@Havegum : To be clear I want to be 50/50 with fan art and original. There is nothing wrong with my original stuff outselling.
It's that I am an enthusiast of many characters in pop culture and I want to attempt to give back a proper sense of inspiration and nostalgia these characters have given me as I grew up. Some of my older fan art does not reflect this especially with some of the DC girls.
To be satisfied with the work, I feel it doesn't have to be just through sales but mostly through reactions from people; in person or through social media.
I'm a big geek. I want to prove that.

your style colorization is just beautiful , I love it, as do you have that kind of nuance ?, it is very nice
You have such an obvious understanding of anatomy. I'm really jealous. I hope to get to that level someday.
@romanlo : I've always enjoyed using mellow and muted colors as it's almost therapeutic for me. Sometimes I worry over small things for no reason and over-think. I've always looked forward to coloring as it helps me relax and not think about anything else.
@Cherubas : Heh, my knowledge about the body is okay until you mention the name of a muscle or bone. To this day I have yet to draw a proper skeleton.

Awesome colouring, I love the pinky sorta tint to the images.
