I'm glad to hear someone likes it, I'm a fan of DeadSpace but I wasn't quite sure about this one.

I've heard nothing but good things about this game....we do have a video game forum however, and I suspect this topic will be moved to it.

The game is completely different. The mechanics were changed, there's forced co-op, massive amounts of day 1 dlc, and micro-transactions for IN GAME ITEMS. But what do I know, apparently you have to play a game to know it's bad, and eat shit before you know it taste like SHIT.
I was skeptical too at first but honestly after playing I found the co-op was pretty fun and having the whole player-specific dementia thing defiantly added to the realism of the whole "you're fucking insane" thing. Like before the crazy cinematic's Issac had where just cut-scenes, now each player experiences different hallucinations while playing and fighting together. Despite what everyone assumed, even with co-op it uses new features to keep the horror. IT'S NOT A BAD GAME JUST PLAY IT.
I'm really looking forward to playing DS3... please keep discussing the game in the correct thread. :)
