I felt sorry for him at first but I sense that he's accepted this. He offered to stop the killings if they just publicly admit to corruption and he has a defined shit list. I don't think he's scared, I believe the LAPD is, I think the civilian casualties is proof of that. It's a fraternal order and tends to run in families, so I can understand his thinking, in a way. I tend to see it as he says it is, being that it's it's between him and LAPD.
He's targeting corrupt cops, who would normally get away with playing the hero card. He is from their order, let them deal with him.
I neither approve nor disaprove, if that makes sense. It's easy to romantacize it or call it raving mad but I feel it's none of my biz.
quite interesting tho', IMO.
Like I said before this is a really grey situation...
what he is doing is pretty evil but if what he is saying about corruption in the police is true (and he is probably telling the truth) then the police actually have the power to stop this. He has promised to stop this if the police admit to corruption.
And the media are just complete tools as always and are dismissing his manifesto as 'rambling' without mentioning the ex-cop's claims in a non-biased way.
Let's hope he kill them all. He would be so much fucked if no one is alive to stand agains him.
First I've heard of this story, new to the topic. Gotta get up in the morning, keeping this minimized...I'm at, uhh...paragraph 48
Cops allowing other cops to be corrupt makes them corrupt. Was this guy wrong for killing the innocents? Yes. But I sincerely hope he goes all urban Rambo on their asses and no more innocents get harmed.

You sure are bOLD, telling everyone this. What if he tries to murder you in cOLD blood?

This sounds exactly like the plot of a generic action movie.
But it's real.
shit's fucked up...
Is it too soon to do a dorner project on the collabinator? Suprised there are no synopses up yet..
Better hurry up before someone steals the idea!
I don't have anything to really steal yet. I been rolling some ideas around though.
I was thinking about a ballad then maybe a short twisted cadence kinda march or something could be fun. Haven't heard a banned cadence I liked in a while.
I dunno, plenty of material to work with in the manifesto and I would think it's kinda compatible with some other stuff that's up in the search. Might just keep it on a private channel, if it's too bad. XD

Yeah, most murderers tend to have some sort of reason.

Something's not right about this...
I agree with cops being almost 99% corrupt, as I once had to learn the hardway that cops are not here to protect civilians, they are not here to put themselves before others, they are here to ENFORCE THE LAW. That means it doesn't matter how corrupt, the law comes first not the people. You go up to a cop asking for help and they find out you have a small bag of weed or any other misdemeanor, they don't care for your cry for help you are now a body.
Yes, that's what they call people, "bodies", it's a score, they divide them and reference us by points, they do not care for ruining lives or saving them.
Fuck cops, I couldn't care less if they died. I can fully sympathize with this vigilante and his heartfelt determination to make the public aware of this corruption.
But with all of the recent events, even the ones that seem to be far disconnected, something is incredibly fishy about this...And the after math is going to cause an even bigger hell on earth. How we respond to that will determine the future.

You have to be the least clever person of all time. Not only was this thread the first created about the topic, but you are about 8 hours in.
What are you, 12?

Yes, if you take the time to at least skim the manifesto, you'll see that he's disgusted by the completely corrupt LAPD that ruined his life and laughs over shedding innocent blood. Of course the media will be biased and write him off as just another lunatic, but it goes much deeper than that. Also, the stuff about supporting an AWB was added in, it was not in his original manifesto. Yes, what he's doing is horrible, but he's trying to bring police corruption into the spotlight. He even says he'll stop if they only admit he is innocent, but the LAPD has no regard for human life, which has been reinforced by their free-fire on civilians in the wake of all this. Yes, this is tragic, but it's a long overdue wake-up call. He's not a terrorist, he's just a man who wants the truth to be known.

They said on the TV this was the biggest manhunt in USA. Perhaps they said biggest ever or they said biggest since a long time, I can't remember. Is it true?
Just read the entire Manifesto, and this was after overhearing how Fox news is portraying him.
Time to keep up with this guy's progress.
At the end of this article, CNN says that they received Dorner's package. Inside was a DVD with a note saying he never lied. However, CNN won't mention anything about what was on the DVD. He reached out to the reporter hoping to make his evidence public, yet it will likely be destroyed because they handed it over to the police. The cops are still saying they will never look into his case and the media won't let the truth be out to the public.
