Also almost forgot Snowing - Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit and all of Fugazi's EP's.

Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.

You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.

I only have EPs that aren't previously released material or live material.

Metallica - The $5.98 EP: Garage Days Re-revisited.

Metallica - Beyond Magnetic

Megadeth - Hidden Treasures

I just looked it up and it IS an EP. I lean more towards Silver and Why Are We Not Perfect though.
Out of their other stuff I like Infinity and Christmas (even though Christmas is an EP).

Haha it's hard to pick a favorite, I think I like Lifeline the most because it was first thing I've heard from him. Every damn thing he puts out in fantastic! Have you heard Pale Sketcher or Final?

Oh yeah forgot that one. Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit is solid!

I think it depends on the type of music. It seems to me that lot of instrumental hip hop artists do a lot of EPs and singles and stuff.

Indeed it is haha. Though I need to find a way to get my hands on some form of the Duchess|Veiled EP as well as the Dethroned EP. Though Dethroned was included as a second disc with a re-release of Heart Ache....

Have you heard Pale Sketcher or Final?

I actually have not heard Final but I have heard Pale Sketcher.

The instrumental and guest vocals based hip hop artists ones I listen to generally put everything in a big "random stuff I havent released/b-sides" but theyre more like collections than EPs.

Which ones do you listen to that release them as EPs?

hmm I guess you're right.

The ones that come to mind right now are Nosaj Thing, Flying Lotus, and Samiyam. I know J Dilla has done at least one EP. Ruff Draft was re-released as a full length with more tracks, but it was an EP at first. And there were Vol. 1: Unreleased and Vol. 2: Vintage, but I don't know if they count as EPs.

Eminem - Infinite
NaS - Illmatic
Beastie Boys - Ill Communication
Bloodhound Gang - Use Your Fingers
Green Day - Dookie
Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die.

Probably way more than that, but only these come to mind.

Ill have to check and listen to them all sometime.

Also now that I think of it I can think of more who do EPs. Maybe theyre just more inclined to release all their work.

These are all LP's m8.
But they're pretty good, all of them.

The Frogs - Starjob
Miracle Legion - The Backyard
Dan Mangan - Roboteering
Aesop Rock - Daylight
Born Ruffians - Born Ruffians

If you guys haven't already gotten into The Frogs, I highly recommend Starjob to all of you. For lack of a better word, it's very... Newgroundsy.

As good as it is, that's still by far their weakest release in my opinion.

Some of my favourite EPs include:

Two Knights - Quilt Chamberlain
Snowing - Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit
Death From Above 1979 - Heads Up
The Music Tapes - Purim's Shadows (The Dark Tours the World)
Strand - Corgi
And probably about 20 more that I'm forgetting and actually enjoy way more than these.

Ween - The Friends EP
Primus - Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People

All I can think of at the moment, both pretty good. The Ween EP is a great album to play at Summer barbecues.
