What kind of person are you typically attracted to? What "types" don't you like?

I, for one, am open to many types of different personalities in a boyfriend, though I do have a penchant for the musically gifted. Especially rockstars.

What's your "type"?

I dunno why but I have a thing for girls who have:
pale skin
dark hair
either green or brown eyes
enjoy actual metal music

not that fucking metalcore crap

as well as having a wide variety of musical taste
and having a good sense of humor is always a really big plus :P

I don't think I really have a type. Sure there are things I find more attractive than others, but I found myself to fall in love with very different types people. Not just physical different but also different personalities.

Although if there if one thing that is a major turn off, (and this will sound pretentious) and that is stupidity.

The only personality type I absolutely hate when it comes to girls are girls who are narcissistic and think everyone needs to agree with them and whenever they don't they're immediately wrong and nothing you say or do will get them to think otherwise.

In America, it seems to me that every man wants to date some sort of Asian chick. Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and every other oriental Asian is attractive because of the Asian craze that we live in. This follows the Hispanic phase that we were living only a decade ago.

That being said, I'm attracted to this one Vietnamese chick right now--but I like her for her personality (she's not the hottest, most stunning Asian, but certainly cute).

My type, then, is somewhat simple: She has to be nice, in the sense that she has a good heart and means well. A good sense of humor is also a plus. She should be a girl that can enjoy a good teasing (meaning a couple of crude comments) and can create some of her own. This girl must have some sort of brain--the type of brain that has common sense and some actual intelligence. Being cute is a bonus (brown eyes, brunette, maybe?). So, this list isn't limited to Asians.

Chances are that if I can't imagine her and me together, she is then not my type.

For guys
Dont really know i havent met/seen that many guys i got really attracted to but i think about my size, thin and dont really care for skin colour for them I have both found white and black guys i was attracted to.

Thinking back to the girls I've been with over the years, they have very little in common. So I guess a 'type' isn't really right for me. What is true is that they were all girls that I could talk to openly as a friend first, which evolved into flirting and so on... in some cases this evolution occurred over an evening, in others over the course of a few weeks. In all cases they were girls with a personality that I got on with and were people I could talk to almost endlessly.

Looks wise they were very different, and also they all had very different interests, though at least some common ground with the things that I was interested in (one liked travel, another sport, another the same music etc.). They were all brunettes in my latter years, though I preferred red heads in my youth.
