Is this just a passage from a random chapter or is this the start of your novel/story? Regardless, the description is nice and fluent, and your use of adjectives isn't congested or overdone. I like the pace of your writing, enough time to become very absorbed with certain atmospheres or items but not too long for it to become boring.
Sorry I can't add much more. I can't really comment on the storyline, but your style of writing is nice.
