Fun fact; I think the album Wish You Were Here is their best album from what I've heard of them.

I honestly don't like Dark Side Of The Moon, The Wall is good, but has some weak tracks; Meddle, 2 weak tracks; Animals, good but doesn't have as much of a punch as Wish You Were Here; Ummgumma (live), start of Saucerful of Secrets is just ugh; Wish You Were Here however is pretty much a perfect album from them.

I'm pretty sure Shine On You Crazy Diamond is too.

I doubt Have A Cigar and Welcome to the Machine have much to do with Syd Barrett, but the album as a whole is largely dedicated to him.
