I'm in some serious fucking trouble

Alright, so i'm just messing around on my laptop. The screen was completely broken before, so i removed it and used a monitor. This has worked fine for the past year or so, but now all of a sudden, there's oranges lines all over the screen, like sepia tone or some shit. I've been researching how to fix it, but i can't find any answers. I think the motherboards fucked.

Any ideas? Also, can you see the lines in the pic?
