How often do you drink water a day? Honestly I drink about 2-3 cups a day even though your supposed to drink 8 cups or something like that.

probably 4-5 cups of water a day on average. the water requirement depends on your food comsuption, and many other factors. 8 cups of water per day is only a guide. you can drink less than that and stay healthy if your water requirement is met.
and i guess being slightly dehydrated is not a big problem.
Depends if there are other beverages. If there are, I drink very little of it. It's the only drink that actually quenches your thirst, so that's the man reason I drink it when it's not soda pop or something else. Also, I get really thirsty sometimes after a big helping of spaghetti, so I drink gallons of it.
About 2-3 bottles a day, I'd say 5-6 if I'm doing sports or working out.

Same here. After a disappointing visit to the dentist towards the end of last year I decided an appropriate New Year's Resolution would be to cut out damaging beverages, including juice. I'm very happy with how I've gone and now that I've done a year of it I don't see the point in going back.
I don't keep tabs on how much water I drink per day but considering it's mostly all I drink the figure's going to be fairly high.

You are supposed to drink 1/2 your body weight in oz.
I usually get in between 40-100oz on any given day.

I drink water about the same as you do. 3 cups a day but sometimes I need some flavor in my life so I grab a soda or something of the sort.
Depends how thristy I am and what's available to drink. I sometimes drink up to 40-50 oz of water a day if that's all i got, if i have fruit juice i drink a ton of that instead.
I quite adore spring water and drink it whenever possible. At college, filtered water is all that's available. When I get home for break, I immediately indulge myself with a nice tall glass of spring water.
Speaking of which, I have no water within reach at the moment; time to fix that minor inconvenience.
I haven't been drinking as much water while away at school because the tap water there is relatively bad. And by relatively bad I mean that if I drink water from the fountains in the biophysics building and other buildings to a lesser extent, it makes my stomach feel strange.
But now that I'm back home for break, I'll be drinking more again. I never knew I would appreciate quality tap water this much.

That's your total water requirement. It includes the water contained in food and other drinks.
About 1L per day on average and for the rest I mostly drink coffee, tea and fruit juices. I think soda is a bit too sweet and quite expensive too. Especially if you drink it all day.

I was big into soda myself as a kid and now I can't stand the taste of it. I drink seltzer with cranberry juice as a nice substitute for soda.
