Cool :) And yea I've started work on it I made an explosion that I'm pretty proud of just for practice just the other day and than happened to find this collab so I figure it would be perfect to incorporate into a 3-second animation :P
The explosion itself actually look me a good portion of a day, here it is:

Tell me what you think, I've been on and off when it comes to animating so I've never really gotten that great at it but I love it and learn a little something new everytime I get back into it.

Update:
I've gotten it started it's basically just a guy vanishing I plan on adding a lot more detail to it and a background, ect. since I have a while till the deadline and it's only 60 frames :P

Haha i like it. Your animations get better with every submission. If i may make a few suggestions, i would like you to make the white puff of the wizards body {it looks like a backwards p} disappear a few frames before the hat hits the ground. I find it lingers too long. And lastly could you put abit more effort into the background, like add some shading to the trees and mountains. And maybe experiment with a different colour for the line work here. Hope it helps.

It looks alot better now with the shading. Give me a few minutes and ill upload a quick example of what you can do to improve. But a few things you could do to practice, is drawing from references and real life on paper with pencils. And always be aware of the direction of light sothat u can add the proper highlights and dark shadows.

Ok the rough example turned into a tutorial and its not even closed to finished. And seeing it is 4am i think i need some sleep. but will pm you once i have uploaded the tree tutorial. Keep experimenting with different effects :]

I don't like studying for exams. So I animated instead!
... I don't know if that's a good thing. .___.

Anyways, I've nearly finished my first animation. View it here! However, I didn't add in shading because I couldn't be bothered, haha! I don't know, I kinda like it without shading, but let me know if you want me to add it in.

Also, I've made a rough sketch of my next idea. View it here! I don't know if I'll end up finishing this second one, though.

Basic Tree Tutorial just For Yoou
I would also recommend searching tutorials on newgrounds
And search youTube for some videos

Yea I've definetley been through a lot of Newgrounds and YouTube tutorials and continuing to do so. Thanks a lot for the tutorial btw

Sounds cool, this method can also be used for the mountains in the background if you feel like giving them a go aswel :] Everybody has their own way of animating and drawing, you just need to experiment and see what works for you.

Hey max, its zee for short haha. You raise an IMPORTANT point.
I did mention this in my first post on how to submit. It would be great if you could please name your symbols.

Or i have found a SUPEREASY method: Just place all elements into a folder and give that folder a name.
This should solve any problems for importing symbols but naming them is just good house keeping :]

lol anyhow i named mine but i'll folder them for you anyhow. my second contribution took a bad twist, sorry. didn't see it coming myself. O_o

I tried to redraw the trees and it didn't turn out so well :P I was wondering if it would be acceptable to just submit that one as is and possibly do another if that's okay with you?

@Max-Vador:Haha yeah its a shame that poor little guy has to die. Im not sure from what though... another thing could i recommend you enlarge the scene about 10-15% so the creatures are bigger and throw in a few more rocks into the landscape. Your part looks great and i really like the unexpected ending :]

@Riott: You can't win them all :] Yeah thats fine with me. The more you draw the better you will get, just out of curiosity do you use a graphics tablet?

Yea I do have a drawing pad but it doesn't have a display or anything on it so I'm still getting used to it.
