I use a plastic coated cable, set into two loops at either end. The cable is steel, so flexible, but gets pulled so tight, so as not to allow thieves to access my quick-release wheels either.

The padlock usually sits tight by the frame, so if they did spray it with canned air, to fracture it, will probably catch the frame, thus breaking that as well, so the thief busts my bike up, as well as stealing it. Cunt.

That's why the best bike locks are the chains with a coating of industrial strength rubber. Fuck solid metal ones.

Some guy with a screwdriver stole mine, he was gonna poke out my eye or something. So he took it and I never saw that bike again. It was pretty nice too. It was a red mountain bike or something. I guess that little hispanic/ black kid needed it more...
