Gah...it seems that I am no longer scouted in the art portal. I read how this can hapen and my first scouter must of otten blammed or something and had privileges taken away. So I can't upload the next page od Rose Love on NGs until I'm scouted again. Bleh.

Well, I am no longer un-scouted! It seems my last scouter had done something that got him banned, so now I have a new one! Hurray!

To celebrate, and I know a lot of other ppl in this thread will appreciate this, I have decided to share some sketches and artwork related to Rose Love. Some of the artwork is really rough and even absent from the final product!

This bonus material is essentially what I have in store at the end of the chapter and a bit for the printed version too.

Big-jonny, I can tell you know all about bumping, that's for sure. But take a look just two or three posts back. I have uploaded some sketches from my comics that I've never shown yet! I plan on doing this for a bit now, so more artwork will be on it's way.

Hey guys! There's been a lot of talk about me sharing some artwork in this thread. I have to say, I am thankful for the tips, but I have in fact been sharing some artwork. I'm not sure if people are seeing it, or just not reading the posts.

Anyways, just for your viewing pleasure, I have another sketch to share. These were made specifically to show off the rough stages of my Rose Love comic development.

So if I hear another person say I'm not sharing artwork from this point on, I'll have to point out that they're incorrect.

No we are not incorrect. I count three comic pages, 2 sketches of already shown pages, 15 thumbnail advertisements, 1 pic of Vegetta (not yours), and 2 original art pieces. So no, you don't post art here, you do updates for pages that already exist. You are decent enough artist who has an art thread on NG. How about posting some actual art. Hell, keep it connected to your rose porn. I don't care. Just something new, not regurgitated sketches/thumbnails of stuff we already seen. How about some concept sketches for new characters or some pinups or something? You know new works?

It has absolutely nothing to do with things being considered art. You are right, it is art. Let me put it another way: It's borderline picture spamming. It's the same thing over and over and over again. Showing thumbnails of cropped panels is not new art. Showing sketches of pages we have already seen is not new art. Key word: New. If it's concept sketches, or sneak previews of new pages (even in sketch form), doodles whatever. Fine something new. Awesome. Because this is a community to learn, share, and grow. Not an ad firm for anime porn.

That is a valid point. Just hang in there a bit though. I have my sketches ordered a particular way. Once I get into the flow of it, and have some more posted, let me know how it's going then.

I will mention however, that this is a Rose Love thread for my Rose Love comics and artworks. It's going to be Rose Love based and I will continue to update with comic "teaser" pics for the newest pages. If you don't like that, then why worry about it at all? Just reply about my other artworks / sketches instead. So, yeah. Anyways, I appreciate the feed back.

Advertise your lovely comic in your newsposts or your sig, but don't make a thread with meagre non-progress bumps to do the same thing.
