It may not necessarily be racist; it could go either way. On one hand, she could be trying to make some victimizing point about reverse-racism, but on the other hand, she could be addressing general racial inequality by proposing the idea of, "How would you feel if it were you instead?" It depends a lot on how it's presented and executed, so I don't think we can make a judgment without actually reading it.
