It is repititave. it costs way too much money, and hypocrites give the game a 9 saying "graphics don't matter" when they give game like Sub Zero myths on the n64 a 3, and it had better graphics. what is so great about it?

Well its true graphics in minecraft don't matter(But I can argue that it looks good for what it is). Yes its repetitive if you are doing the same stuff all the time but the reality is the game allows people to be creative in so many ways imagineable and there are always mods out there for the people who can't get the creative juices going as well as others.
You can play it in a realistic kind of style (Fight for survival and find and build the tools yourself) or just straight up build if you want without worrying about death the choice is yours.
Maybe some people aren't into that but for those who are minecraft is a really fun game actually.
Because creativity is always fun. Why do people play with lego? Same reason.
"Anything could happen in the next half hour!"
"For the love of God, don't stop pretending you're a dragon!"
roblox and blockland do that better and they came before.
Because the game gives you ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
you can play the game vanilla or build the world you want and with mods it can turn into any fucking game you want!
I can't disagree with you there, I had some fun with it and made a nice little stone house and stone walls and courtyard but I just couldn't be fucked mining for iron and other shit
It is fun because it proves that graphics don't matter. If you have the right creativity you can build anything.
Ecchi first, ask questions never.
Costs to much? Like £4 when it was in testing, sucks to be you if you didn't get it then.
For £4 it is very much worth the cost to fuck about on for quite some time. Lots of £40 etc. games these days only end up with like 12 hours gameplay which is then not worth repeating, for the incredibly cheap cost it provides a lot more time of enjoyment. Isn't really anything to complain about with value for money. Same as Terraria which was about £3, I personally prefer that myself due to it being 2D so I can actually see things without my line of sight fucking it up. But alas they are both worth the cost.
If they are a lot more expensive now you only have yourself to blame for not getting them earlier, it was mentioned many times.
Basically what everyone else said. I don't see how £16 is expensive.
Well i see you have not played Minecraft. It is very addicting once you play for a few days. And once you find diamond, you think the game is related to you. Play it for about 3 days, then tell me its not addicting.
"Thats impossible"-Superman
I like to get together with friends on minecraft in survival mode and build our own houses and invade each other or play the hunger games.Monster hunting, exploring, making traps, and building maps are also fun things to do.
This is my badly made signature.
You are only limited to that of your imagination. Guess you're not an imaginative sort.

I think I paid 15 dollars for Minecraft. That was when it was in beta. I think it was beta 1.3 or something.

I don't think spending two hours to dig out of a cave I fell into because my arm isn't powerful is addicting.

a lot of them do, plus I like how a lot of them treat games like Terrria or whatever and Infiminer like trash.

But uh... but... why can't people who like Minecraft just fackin' like it? Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeze. ... "because hipsters think they're cool" bahahah. I wonder what your thought process is before you say or type things. I'm assuming you just don't think at all and post the first angry thought that enters your brain.

A lot of people who like Minecraft also like Terraria. A lot of people who like Minecraft don't know what Infiniminer is.
I have played Minecraft and it is okay. I didn't get addicted to it.
Everybody likes it because they think it's fun. If you don't, well, that's your problem.

You must be bluffing. My arm will fall off before I ever finish a creative build like a statue of myself.

You can get HD texture packs to make it look as realistic as you want. There are 256x256 pixel ones that look awesome.

You have free range to build and explore in randomly generated world info blocks! And Sub Zero Myths sucked in my opinion and deserved a three. Why does minecrat not deserve to be its very low price comparatively in the gaming industry? Because of the graphics? It delivers for those who like that kind of game. I paid like 8 bucks for minecraft a year or two ago for beta. I know it's more now, but it's not 59.99. Quality is in the eye of the beholder in the same vein that I can't understand why people like Creed.
Minecraft can go as far as your imagination can take you. Guess you don't have to much imagination. As a kid, i loved Lego. And this game combines Lego with a pixelated adventures.
It's also great to know, that everything you've built, you collected everything single material. It feels amazing when you create your first mud hut, then slowly get wood for a wooden house and then greater stuff.
I agree. I think the views in Minecraft look awesome at times. sunrise over a mountain, priceless.

I constantly see youtube commenters fellating Minecraft for not being a generic first person shooter. That must be it. They think playing Minecraft makes them a unique special snowflake.
Because it has a Simplistic and Cartoony innocence to it.
Until you slap some guns and blood in with a mod, then it just becomes Lego Cabela Zombie Shootin' Jamboree 2012.
