You know, if they want to milk old movies for money, why not just re-release the movie into theaters? You don't have to fucking remake everything.
Titanic was re-released this year, and James Cameron didn't have to fucking remake the whole goddamn movie.
I'd love to be able to see Ghostbusters, Die Hard, Gremlins, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre on the big screen. Re-release these movies! They are good movies, you will probably get your money back!
I already know why. It's because Hollywood caters to the ignorant young person who has no sense of anything but himself, and views anything that wasn't made before he was born as being irrelevant.
Hollywood's running out of ideas.
We've remade the same movies three hundred times, pumped out so many sequels that the word "sequel" has become synonymous with "crap." and we've made so many movies based on pre-existing properties that we've run out of books and now we have to resort to board games.

I for one am more pissed off at sequels nobody asked for. For instance, I was watching Ted yesterday and one of the trailers was for a new Judge Dredd movie. I was so pissed off I almost walked out of the theater.
I've seen both versions, and both are equally as terrible. We don't need another garbage horror movie remake. If they're going to remake anything, make it something worthwhile.
Yea, I farm Anal Penguins. Do something about it.

I'm actually okay with a Judge Dredd reboot. Nobody liked the older one anyway. It's remakes of movies that are already good that bug me.

I tried to quote but I forgot. Because he's being considered for Light in the American Death Note (and I legitimately think he fits)
directed by a woman? no thanks

Except that he's like, 50.
I'm actually looking forward to this. Kimberly Pierce is a well-established director with Boys Don't Cry and Stop-Loss on her repertoire. The original Carrie, while a fantastic picture in itself, did no justice in portraying certain important aspects of the book. The remake was faithful to its source, but struggled with its TV-special budget to create anything outstanding. I look forward to this.
It wasn't good, not saying it was terrible. It definitely won't be remembered as a good classic though.

Carrie wasn't even a MEMORABLE movie... why remake it, i will never understand.
This is a sig you dumbass.
